Using 12 volt Batteries:

To operate a 10 amp load for 1 hour, you would need 10 amp hours from a Battery.
To operate at a 50 amp load for 1 hour you would need 50 amp hours from a Battery.
To operate at a 100 amp load for 1 hour you would need 100 amp hours from a Battery.

To operate a 10 amp load for 24 hours, you would need 240 amp hours from a Battery.
To operate a 50 amp load for 24 hours, you would need 500 amp hours from a Battery.
