HHO Mist

This is an excellent example of what the HHO gas looks like. Of course, the gas is invisible; but what you can see is the vapor escaping.

  • First of all, the water is cold; what you see is not steam.

  • The hydrogen bubbles are popping up all over the place. What you see are bubble membranes, containing the gas. As the bubbles pop, the water membrane falls back to the water.

  • The oxygen bubbles can be seen swirling around; rising much slower. They are heavier than the hydrogen bubbles, but they still rise.

  • It is interesting to see how the rising gases produce turbulence in the air; part of which helps propel the oxygen gas upwards.
